Achievements
The Kawasaki Network of Citizens has brought together 165 human rights organizations to unite in their efforts to eliminate hate speech and end discrimination against foreigners and minorities in Japan, which has unfortunately constituted a serious social issue. Since 2016, the Kawasaki Network of Citizens has been monitoring incidents of hate speech through social media, and its members have been conducting lectures to educate people about the problem, as well as organizing demonstrations with more than 1,000 participants who have stood up to protest hate speech.

Mr. Ogiso has conducted more than 2,000 lectures on Internet etiquette and communication ethics for the prevention of violence on the Internet to more than 400,000 netizens in Japan. He has been recognized for his contribution to the prevention of cyberbullying through activities, including ethics education and counseling.
